CNLC is a Neighbourhood House, Registered Training Organisation, and Learn Local provider in Carlton. We support adults to learn English, build confidence, and participate in community life.

Learn English
Build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing English in a welcoming, supportive environment. Our English language classes help adults at all levels improve communication for work, study, and everyday life.
Community programs
We offer support to get people into work or further education, organise community events, have a creative writing class, and an “all abilities” program for people with diverse learning needs (which include mental illness, physical and/or mild intellectual disabilities).
Recycling & compost
Local residents can purchase our organic compost online. Click below to pay and then pop in to CNLC to pick up your compost.
