Creative Writers Group

CNLC celebrates the power of the written word for those who wish to learn to write poetry or short stories and those who are published. Classes are delivered by experienced writer and tutor Tania Chandler. 

Writers Workshop

Explore creative writing through practice and discussion. Suitable for writers confident in their genre but open to development. You are welcome to bring your fiction, non-fi­ction or poems for discussion/feedback. Articles on writing skills, examples from some of the best writers as well as writing prompts provided. 

Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Day: Monday

Dates: Term 1 - 3 February - 23 March / Term 2 - 20 April - 22 June

Cost: Term 1 - $192.50 / Term 2 - $220


Alive & Active Program

Students explore a variety of creative expression such as art, physical activity, meditation and excursions. For people of all abilities. This course can be taken alone or with the Community Lunch.

Time: 1.30pm – 2.30pm

Day: Thursdays

Dates: Term 3 - 16 July - 17 September / Term 4 - 8 October - 17 December

Cost: Term 3 - $40 / Term 4 - $40 (free for eligible participants)

Enrolments and bookings are needed for all community development classes and activities.

You can enrol in person, by email or over the phone.

If you have a concession card please present it. Commencement depends on sufficient enrolments. Full fee payment is needed before commencing in a community development activity.  In cases of hardship, it is possible to negotiate payments.
