Literacy Pathways
Do you or someone you know need extra support to access education due to diverse learning needs, which include mental illness, physical and/or mild intellectual disabilities?
In this course teaching and learning is focused on building employability and life skills through exploring different topics and the areas of interest of this diverse learning group.
Learners will have the opportunity to develop digital confidence, literacy skills and knowledge of ICT.
This class is followed by the Community Lunch.
- Dates: 1 February - 22 June 2023 (Semester 1) / 13 July - 14 December 2023 (Semester 2)
- Days: Thursdays
- Time: 10.00am - 12.30pm
- Cost: $50 for consession per Semester / $70 for non-consession per Semester
This course can be taken alone or with the Community Lunch and Alive and Active Program.
Community Lunch
Enjoy this social gathering and healthy two course meal with our diverse community.

- Time: 12:30pm - 1.30pm
- Contribution: $50 per Term. Free to eligible participants
Note: Community Lunch is dependent on COVID 19 restrictions. Should it not proceed an alternative one-hour program will be offered in its place.
Alive and Active
Students explore a variety of creative expressions such as art, physical activity, meditation, singing and excursions.
- Dates: 1 February - 22 June 2023 (Semester 1) / 13 July - 14 December 2023 (Semester 2)
- Days: Thursdays
- Time: 1.30pm - 2.30pm
- Contribution: $50 per Term. Free to eligible participants
